The brief

NA Financial handles monthly bookkeeping, payroll and reporting for growing businesses. Bookkeeping is a category where every provider lists the same six services, so the site competes on the one thing an owner actually feels, which is whether the books are closed on time.

Owners do not know how to compare bookkeepers and default to price. The site had to make a different variable visible, and make the monthly deliverable concrete enough to judge.

What we did

01

Led with the closing date rather than the service list, so the promise is checkable rather than atmospheric.

02

Named the real problem first, that most businesses are flying blind until tax season, which is the cost of bad bookkeeping in a sentence.

03

Described the month end pack as something the owner will genuinely read, turning a deliverable into a benefit.

04

Positioned the scope precisely as everything between the bank feed and the accountant, which ends the overlap question before it is asked.

05

Published fixed monthly pricing and the software certifications, both of which competitors tend to leave to a call.

Where it landed

A bookkeeping site that gives an owner something specific to compare. The pitch is a date and a fixed fee rather than a list of tasks every competitor also performs.
