The brief
A beauty technology brand built around LED light therapy and botanical skincare. Device brands in this category tend to sound like either a clinic or an infomercial, and both cost them the customer. Velárya was written to sound like neither.
At home light therapy has a credibility problem, earned honestly by a decade of overclaiming. The brand had to explain real science without making a medical promise it could not keep.
What we did
Framed the science honestly. The site says outright that the brand did not invent light therapy, it refined it, which is both true and far more convincing than a discovery claim.
Built the five products as one ritual rather than five listings, with a stated ten minutes morning and night, so the customer buys a habit instead of a gadget.
Designed for the bathroom shelf, not the clinic. The devices are presented as objects that belong in a home, which is the actual barrier to purchase.
Gave each device a name and a role, Halo, Aura, Mist, Nova and Elixir, so the range reads as a considered collection rather than a catalogue.
Kept the claims soft and the mechanism clear, which protects the brand and reads as more confident, not less.
