The brief
A premium leather jacket brand currently in build. Leather is a category where the customer cannot touch the product, so every purchase decision rests on whether the site can make the material credible through a screen.
Online leather is drowning in fake heritage and permanent sales. A genuine maker has to prove craft in a medium that flattens texture, and do it without sounding like every other brand claiming the same thing.
What we did
Built the argument on specifics rather than adjectives: full grain cowhide, structural durability, tailored fit and a lifetime position on the product.
Structured the range into featured pieces, new arrivals and collections, so a returning customer has a reason to come back and a new one has a way in.
Gave the brand a street level section so the jackets are seen worn by people rather than only shot on a stand.
Planned a bespoke tier, since made to measure is where the margin and the loyalty both live in this category.
Kept customer care visible, sizing, shipping, returns and warranty, because in high ticket apparel the return policy is part of the product.
