The brief
Little Saints offers reading, writing and homework support for grades K to 8 in Humble, Texas. Tutoring is bought by a worried parent, usually late, usually after a school report. The site was built around the smallest possible first step rather than around enrolment.
Parents researching tutoring are anxious and comparison shopping, and most centres ask for registration fees and a commitment before demonstrating anything at all.
What we did
Made the free reading assessment the primary call to action everywhere, so the first ask costs a parent nothing.
Set the expectation for what happens next in concrete terms, two minutes now and a phone call after, so nobody wonders who will ring or when.
Stated the absence of registration fees as a headline fact, since it is the objection most competitors create.
Built the offering around one child at a time rather than around programmes and tiers.
Added a partnerships section so schools and community groups have a route in that is not the parent funnel.

Where it landed
A centre site with one obvious next step on every screen. The commitment being asked for is an assessment, not an enrolment, which is what an anxious parent can actually say yes to.
