The brief
An initial mockup built for a client in embroidery digitizing and vector art conversion. The competition all compete on price per file and turnaround, which is a race with one winner and it is never the small studio.
Digitizing is bought by apparel decorators and print shops who have been burned by cheap files that sew badly. Price is the loudest signal in the market and the least useful one.
What we did
Positioned the business as an atelier with a bench rather than a service with a queue, which changes what the buyer thinks they are paying for.
Kept the operational promises specific and checkable: four to six hour turnaround, flat rate per file, and no surprise charges.
Built a format matrix so a shop can confirm in seconds that their machine is supported, which is the actual first question every buyer has.
Wrote the section headings in the language of the trade, asked at the cutting table, recent work from the bench, so the site sounds like it was written by somebody who has done the job.
Showed real stitched output rather than logos on flat backgrounds, because decorators judge quality by the sew out and nothing else.
Live on the site
“Embroidery, vector art, dialed in.”
