The brief
YHA trains CNAs, home health aides and caregivers in Houston. Vocational training is a category built on withheld pricing and inflated placement claims, aimed at people who cannot afford to be misled. The site was written to be the honest one on the shortlist.
Prospective students are often already working the job, on shift patterns, with limited budget and limited patience for a sales call. Every competitor hides tuition behind a form.
What we did
Published tuition on the website and said so plainly, noting that this should not be remarkable but is.
Wrote the programme comparison to steer people to the course matching the job they want, not the biggest one on the page.
Built the timetable around four real student situations rather than a generic schedule grid.
Stated the difficulty honestly in a section on what the work asks of you, which filters out the wrong applicants before they enrol.
Framed the certificate by the door it opens rather than the certificate itself, keeping the promise tied to employment.
Live on the site
“Care is a skill. We teach it by the hour, until it is yours.”
Where it landed
A training site that treats applicants as adults with a budget and a shift pattern. Pricing, hours and difficulty are all answered before anyone has to ring and ask.
